| The City of
Ottawa operates a municipal swimming pool located along East
Norris Drive.
Commissioner of Public Property Wayne A. Eichelkraut, Jr. and the Playground and Recreation Board have announced that there will be a swim and movie night at Riordan Pool on Wednesday, August 11, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Admission for both events will be $2.00 per person.
Also, the Riordan Pool hours of operation (weather permitting) for the remainder of the 2010 season are as follows:
August 5 - August 15, 2010 OPEN 11:30a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
August 16 - August 20, 2010 CLOSED
August 21 - August 22, 2010 OPEN 11:30a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
August 23 - August 27, 2010 CLOSED
August 28 - August 29, 2010 OPEN 11:30a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
August 30 - September 3, 2010 CLOSED
September 4 September 6, 2010 OPEN 11:30a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
September 7, 2010 CLOSED FOR THE SEASON

There will be a 30 minute rain delay to determine if pool should close. In case of severe weather (tornado watch) the pool will close without the 30 minute delay.
