Civil War Quilt - View Civil War quilt

The Illinois Valley Quilt Guild is making a Civil War quilt to be used as part of the fund raising effort for the restoration of the Civil War Monument in Washington Square(show. The quilt will be the approximate size of a double bed and made from fabric that is representative of the Civil War era. The fabric for this quilt is being donated by the Quilting Family Quilt Shop in downtown Ottawa.

When complete, the quilt will be displayed in various locations throughout the downtown. Raffle tickets will be sold for this one-of-a-kind artwork with the drawing to be held at the dedication of the monument in October, 2006.
